I remember seeing an article about "Delta Tenn" in CBG, where its creator said he modeled Delta on Shannon Tweed, and that if the comic were a success he would ask Tweed to either pose for a photo cover or do a TV series based on the comic... my memory's fuzzy on the details, and I tossed out my CBG back issues years ago.
I remember seeing ads for it in the CBG back then... along with a lot of other cheesy "good girl" b/w comics. It was a great time for not-quite-porn, I guess!
Around that time, CBG had ads for a comic called "Delta Nine" from Kevin Clark Keyes, who was also peddling his amateurish adaptation of "Hamlet." I don't think it had any under-dressed policewomen in it....
